1. Introduction
Welcome to Sanova Health, owned and operated by Atrium Health Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, enrolling in our courses, or participating in our clinical placements, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
2. Non-Accredited Courses & Placements
All courses and clinical placements offered by Sanova Health are strictly non-accredited and do not lead to any official certification, licensing, or credentialing in Canada or any other country.
Our programs are designed to enhance skills and provide practical exposure but do not guarantee employment, certification, or residency matching.
The medical information provided in our courses is curated using publicly available online resources and is intended for educational purposes only. It should not be considered medical advice or a substitute for formal medical training. Completing a course does not provide the necessary certification or qualifications to practice in any medical field.
3. Enrollment & Payment
All course and placement enrollments are final and non-refundable once payment is processed.
It is the responsibility of the participant to review course descriptions and requirements before enrollment.
Prices and course materials are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
4. Practical Courses
Practical courses provide observership opportunities in real medical settings but do not include direct patient care unless explicitly stated.
Clinics and healthcare providers reserve the right to deny or revoke placements at any time due to reasons including, but not limited to:

Negligence, misconduct, unprofessional behavior, or improper conduct by the participant.

Issues related to patient safety, privacy, or ethical concerns.

Unexpected operational changes or scheduling conflicts.

Applicants have 30 days from the date of payment to schedule and complete the practical portion of their course. If they fail to do so due to their own unavailability or lack of response to our emails, their enrollment will expire. In such cases, they will not be entitled to a refund at any point.

All practical portions take place in Scarborough, ON. inability to commute for practical placements is NOT the responsibility of Sanova Health, and a refund will not be issued for this reason.
If a placement is revoked due to participant misconduct, no refunds or alternate placements will be provided.
5. Participant Responsibilities & Code of Conduct
All participants must:

Act professionally, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow ethical standards.

Abide by all clinic or course-specific rules and policies.

ALL applicants must sign the corresponding contracts provided by the clinic(s) provided practical practice, inability to sign or adhere to the clinic's policy will results in termination of your practical studies with no refund.

Dress appropriately for clinical settings and maintain hygiene standards.

Respect all staff, instructors, and patients while engaged in courses or placements.
Failure to comply may result in immediate termination from the program without a refund.
6. Liability Disclaimer
Sanova Health and Atrium Health Services shall not be liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages (direct or indirect) that occur while participating in any course, clinical placement, or related activities.
Participants acknowledge that they engage in courses and placements at their own risk and that Sanova Health is not responsible for any medical, legal, or financial consequences resulting from their participation.
Sanova Health does not guarantee employment, residency placement, or professional certification as a result of completing any course or clinical observership.
Any information, guidance, or training provided in courses and placements should not be considered medical advice or professional consultation. The content is intended for general knowledge enhancement and is not a substitute for professional medical education or training.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, content, and resources provided by Sanova Health are protected by copyright and are for personal educational use only.
Participants may not copy, distribute, or reproduce course materials without explicit permission.
8. Privacy & Confidentiality
Participants must adhere to all patient confidentiality and privacy laws, including but not limited to HIPAA and PHIPA regulations in Canada.
Any breach of patient confidentiality or misuse of private information may result in legal consequences and immediate removal from the program.
9. Changes to Courses & Placements
We reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule any course or placement due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

Instructor availability

Changes in clinic schedules

Public health restrictions
If a course or placement is canceled by Sanova Health, we may offer an alternative option at our discretion, but refunds will not be issued.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes must be resolved within the jurisdiction of Ontario courts.
